I have moved house at the end of last month and had to go 3 weeks without real internet access. I had access via my old T-Mobile G1 and I had a 3G mobile dongle. 3G internet access isn't that bad but my local tower was over subscribed so it went from awesome to useless quite frequently. Since it was 'pay as you go' I didn't use the internet as I normally would. I was always worried about how much I was using as I had no real intention of using it that often.
But I'm finally hooked up with some decent DSL and life is back to normal! It's amazing how much I rely on the internet these days for pretty much everything and going without was pretty painful. I'm not sure why it had to take 3 weeks but at least it's sorted and I can hopefully get back into my old routines relatively easily.
The downside is now I can view my credit card statement. Maybe I'll save that for later.
